Das Exit Festival in Novi Sad (Serbien) ist etwas ganz besonderes, wenn 20.000 Menschen beim Sonnenuntergang über der alten Festung Petrovaradin feiern. Das ganze findet von Donnerstag, dem 08. Juli, bis zum Sonntag, dem 11. Juli, statt. Also volle 4 Tage feiern nonstop. Das Exit Festival bietet eine Vielfalt von Bühnen, billiges Essen und Trinken und das beste Camping Entertainment während des Sonnenbads in der Balkansonne.

Das Exit Festival ist das angesehenste Festival in Europa. Es wurde bei den UK Festival Awards in den letzten 3 Jahren jeweils für die Kategorie “Best Overseas Festival” nominiert und gewann den Titel im Jahr 2007. Anfang 2010 wurde es in den Niederlanden bei den European Festival Awards in der Kategorie “Best Major Festival” nominiert. 2009 feierte das Exit Festival seinen 10. Geburtstag.
